About Us
Nubian Ski was founded in 2000 when four keen winter sports enthusiasts came together to form a ski club that was welcoming and filled with friendly people who enjoyed adventure and having fun. Since then, we have travelled across the globe from Japan in the East to Canada and America in the West for that extra special ski experience.

In recent years we’ve added dual centre holidays to our itinerary and apart from skiing have also visited the island of Hawaii and cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Kyoto, San Francisco and Mexico.

Everyone involved in organising Nubian Ski holidays, Nubian events or taking photographs, volunteers their time, energy and ideas and we’d like to say thank you to everyone who volunteers for the ski club. In particular, we’d like to say “Thank You” to everyone in the Nubian Ski massive for your support for this club over the years.
Joining The NBS
The National Brotherhood of Snowsports was established more than 50 years ago and is the world’s largest Snowsports organisation, exposing people of colour to winter sports. The NBS’s continued goal is to expose people, especially people of colour, to the vast outdoors and Snowsports.

It’s mission is… “To identify, develop and support athletes of colour who will win International and Olympic winter sports competitions representing the United States and to increase participation in winter sports”.

In July 2024, Nubian Ski officially joined the NBS as their UK based chapter. This will ensure members will be exposed to skiing opportunities both in Europe, the USA and the world at large.
