ABOUT US
Nubian Ski was founded in 2000 when four keen winter sports enthusiasts came together to form a ski club that was welcoming and filled with friendly people who enjoyed adventure and having fun. That was 22 years ago and since then, we have travelled across the globe from Japan in the East to Canada and America in the West for that extra special ski experience.
In recent years we’ve added dual centre holidays to our itinerary and apart from skiing have also visited the island of Hawaii and cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Kyoto, San Francisco and a Mexican cruise.

Before we go any further we would like to pass on our condolences to family and friends that we have passed away due to the Coronavirus pandemic, other illnesses and incidents. It has been an extraordinary 18 months.
We are now in our 22nd year of organising ski trips and will be travelling to destinations as exciting as our very first. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will not be celebrating in our usual way, but we are considering different ways of managing our usual events such as our annual Picnic in the Park event in August and Christmas Party in December. We will update you on those in the near future.
Everyone involved in organising Nubian Ski holidays, Nubian events or taking photographs, volunteers their time, energy and ideas and we’d like to say thank you to everyone who volunteers for the ski club. In particular, we’d like to say “Thank You” to everyone in the Nubian Ski massive for your support for this club over the past 22 years.
A special note of thanks goes to the skiers and boarders who put their trust in the club and ventured out with us to so many different resorts. Those holidays are exhilarating and full of jokes, laughter plus a real sense of achievement when you move from one ski or boarding level to the next ... Oh yeah, how could I forget to mention the parties, karaoke nights, quiz nights and the Nubian Ski awards? Plus the romance that have resulted in marriage and babies, though not necessarily in that order!
The Nubian Ski Club has become an unstoppable community of family and friends and the love, commitment and friendship just keeps on growing. Mentoring organisation, Urban Synergy (www.urbansynergy.com) is now our chosen charity. We hope to help them raise thousands of pounds and encourage more supporters of Nubian Ski to support them as role models, provide work place placements for young people and indeed offer time and energy as mentors.
We hope you will join us for our coming holiday in 2023, help us to support Urban Synergy and thank you for your continued feedback and support. We value this enormously and as it ensures that we continue to develop Nubian Ski to be the best club we can possibly be, and to thrive successfully long into the future.
